Lenovo Korea has unveiled its innovative Cyber Resiliency as a Service (CRaaS) solution, designed to address the growing cybersecurity challenges faced by enterprises in today’s digital landscape. Leveraging AI technology, this subscription-based service aims to enhance security across digital assets, devices, and networks, ensuring business continuity even in the face of increasing cyber threats.

The CRaaS solution integrates Lenovo’s device telemetry with Microsoft’s Defender for Endpoint and Security Copilot to provide a multi-layered approach to security. This advanced system not only improves visibility into security measures but also strengthens detection, response, and recovery capabilities. It empowers businesses to protect their devices, users, applications, data, networks, and cloud services from sophisticated attacks.

Lenovo’s CRaaS is built on a Security by Design framework, embedding protection measures throughout the software development process. It complements Lenovo’s ThinkShield portfolio, which delivers high-end security features across the company’s hardware, software, and services. This service offers end-to-end cybersecurity, a fully integrated technology stack managed by Lenovo experts, and governance based on industry best practices.

The importance of robust cybersecurity has never been more pressing, as businesses face challenges such as hybrid work environments, increased adoption of AI, and an explosion of data and devices. According to Lenovo’s annual survey of global Chief Information Officers (CIOs), 51% of respondents cited cybersecurity as their top IT priority, while 65% reported difficulties in addressing data privacy and security issues.

Marc Wheelhouse, Lenovo’s Chief Security Officer for the Solutions and Services Group, stated that the CRaaS solution offers unparalleled visibility across enterprise assets, instilling confidence in business leaders. He emphasized that the integration of AI and automation allows users to efficiently identify, isolate, and mitigate threats by reviewing logs and resolving alerts, eliminating blind spots in the security framework. Additionally, Wheelhouse highlighted the service’s comprehensive offering, fully managed by Lenovo, as a means to simplify security purchasing and implementation processes.

The CRaaS solution also aims to reduce the burden on IT staff by automating labor-intensive and time-consuming tasks. This not only minimizes fixed costs but also enhances business productivity and efficiency. With hundreds of security tools available in the market, many enterprises struggle to combine solutions into a cohesive architecture. Lenovo’s CRaaS addresses this challenge by providing an all-in-one, consistent security framework.

Shin Gyu Sik, President of Lenovo Korea, noted that customers are increasingly seeking simplified vendor relationships, cost-effective technology management, and broad protection with enhanced visibility. He added that the CRaaS solution enables businesses to effectively counter complex and frequent cyberattacks while addressing compliance and budget constraints.

Further details about Lenovo’s CRaaS solution can be found on the company’s official website. This offering underscores Lenovo’s commitment to empowering businesses with cutting-edge technology to navigate the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
