Soda Museum marks its 10th anniversary with a special exhibition, 'Hello! Soda: Everyday for 10 Years,' from September 5 to November 9, 2024. The exhibition will feature indoor and outdoor installations by renowned artists Nosooncheon, Lee Eunsun, and Choi Seongim, reflecting on the museum’s decade-long journey and exploring its future direction.

Since its establishment in 2014 in the Ansung-dong area of Hwaseong City, the Soda Museum has played a significant role in enhancing cultural value and breaking the boundaries between art and everyday life. What was once an abandoned bathhouse has been transformed into a dynamic art space, hosting numerous curated exhibitions and events that extend art into the community.

This anniversary exhibition reunites the museum with the installation artists who were part of its inception. Their artworks seamlessly integrate with the museum's space, allowing visitors to experience art as part of their daily lives while reflecting on the museum's evolution.

No soon cheon, known for sculpting with lines, presents the work Standing Man at the beginning and end of the open gallery. The piece captures the essence of nature in human form, allowing visitors to engage with the shifting natural environment. No’s work explores the relationship between nature and humanity, offering viewers a contemplative experience.

Lee Eun sun, following her 2016 work Shape of Time, unveils Shape of Breeze, an installation that captures the movement of wind. Fabric hung in the path of the wind moves in harmony with its flow, breathing life into the open gallery space. Her work encourages visitors to perceive the space with heightened awareness, inviting them to observe the unseen elements like wind and light.

Choi Seong im creates installations in the indoor Bath Gallery using delicate materials such as gold leaf, beads, and vinyl. Her works, including Solar Eclipse, Golden Room, and Silver Room, reinterpret the former bathhouse's structure, evoking the imagery of light and water. Through these pieces, visitors can experience a sense of purification and renewal, blending past and present in an artistic space transformation.

The exhibition offers a deeply immersive experience, encouraging visitors to perceive art as a natural extension of their daily lives. Reflecting on the museum’s 10-year journey, it also serves as a forward-looking step toward its next decade.
