Cube Entertainment, a prominent K-pop agency, confirmed the upcoming debut of their new boy group, Nowadays, in the first half of this year. The official announcement was accompanied by the establishment of social media channels dedicated to the group on Monday.
Nowadays marks Cube Entertainment's first boy group debut in eight years, following the introduction of Pentagon, their previous boy group. Comprising five members, detailed information about the members will be gradually unveiled leading up to their debut.

A teaser clip featuring the group members exploring London was released on Cube Entertainment's official YouTube channel on Tuesday. Notably, Kim Hyun-bin, a participant from Mnet's "Produce X 101," is revealed to be part of Nowadays.
Cube Entertainment acknowledged the significant time invested in developing the new boy group, emphasizing the agency's commitment to cultivating solid vocal and performance skills among its trainees.

Cube Entertainment is currently without any active boy groups, following the departure of BTOB members last year after the expiration of their exclusive contracts. Pentagon, another boy group under the agency, saw several members—Yeo One, Yana, Kino, and Wooseok—leave upon the expiration of their contracts, leading to a temporary halt in the group's activities.
