The announcement was made through the band's newly established social media accounts, which went live at midnight on Sunday. A teaser video was released, featuring words such as "Now," "A," "Days," "Curious," "Dreamy," and "Youthful," providing a glimpse into the band's concept and theme.

In an official press release, Cube Entertainment expressed pride in presenting Nowadays as their latest boy band, withholding specific details about the group except for the number of members.

Notably, male artists from Cube Entertainment have been exploring new agency affiliations following the conclusion of their seven-year contracts. Presently, only three members of Pentagon remain under Cube Entertainment, while none of the members from the boy band BTOB chose to renew their contracts.
