Data from the Korean Film Council revealed that the supernatural occult film "Exhuma" maintained its position as the most popular movie currently showing, topping the weekend box-office chart with 2.33 million viewers from Friday to Sunday.
Released on February 22, the film achieved a milestone of surpassing 6 million cumulative viewers on Sunday. It took "Exhuma" a total of 11 days to reach this mark, a week shorter than last year's highest-grossing film, "12.12: The Day," which depicted Korea's military coup in 1979.
