On Monday, Big Hit Music confirmed that BTS's V is poised to release his new English song, "FRI(END)S," on the upcoming Friday. This pop soul track marks V's first solo music venture since the release of his debut solo album, "Layover," in September.

The company revealed that V had prepared "FRI(END)S" before embarking on his mandatory military service in December. The song is scheduled to be released at 1 p.m. on the specified day.
