The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra is set to present a special Christmas concert featuring NCT’s Doyoung on December 7. The performance, titled “Miracle Classic Seoul: A Christmas Gift,” will take place at the Starfield Library in COEX Mall, Gangnam, a renowned holiday destination known for its iconic Christmas tree displays.
This concert, marking the second consecutive year of the Miracle Classic Seoul series, promises to immerse audiences in the festive spirit with a carefully curated selection of holiday music. Under the baton of associate conductor David Yi, the orchestra will perform 13 pieces, including Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride” and beloved carols like “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Jingle Bells,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
A highlight of the evening will be NCT member Doyoung’s collaboration with the orchestra. He will deliver stunning renditions of three songs: “Snow Flower,” “A Bright Shining Moment,” and George Michael’s iconic “Last Christmas.” His vocal performance, paired with the orchestra’s rich arrangements, is expected to create a magical experience for attendees.
The concert is free of charge, ensuring accessibility for all. For those unable to attend in person, the Seoul Philharmonic will livestream the performance on its official YouTube channel at 8 PM on December 7, bringing the festive cheer to audiences worldwide.
The event underscores the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra’s commitment to making classical music accessible and enjoyable for diverse audiences. By pairing traditional orchestral music with contemporary elements such as Doyoung’s performance, the concert bridges genres and generations, creating a unique cultural offering.
