Itzy's Hit Single 'Wannabe' Achieves Gold Certification from the Recording Industry Association of America

The Recording Industry Association of America has awarded gold certification to "Wannabe," the main track from Itzy's second EP, "It'z Me." Released in March 2020, the song has garnered 500,000 shipments in the United States. Notably, it has achieved significant online success with 300 million streams on Spotify and the music video surpassing 500 million views on YouTube in May, marking a notable achievement for the quintet.

Recently, four members of Itzy concluded a fan meeting tour, "Kill My Doubt," in Taipei, Taiwan. The seventh EP, associated with the tour, secured the No. 23 position on the Billboard 200 chart in August.

Itzy member Lia has been on hiatus since September due to extreme anxiety.
