South Korean boy band Vanner is poised to release its inaugural Japanese digital single this Thursday and will showcase the new music during their scheduled concerts in Osaka and Tokyo on Thursday and Saturday.
The digital single, titled "PERFORMER -Japanese ver.-," comprises two tracks: a Japanese version of the band's recent dance track "PERFORMER" and an original Japanese song titled "Pony Tail."
The songs will make their live debut in front of fans on Thursday as Vanner hosts its first "fan concert" event, a unique fusion of a concert and meet-and-greet experience in Japan. This performance is part of the band's inaugural fan concert tour, known as "VVS Adventure," named after the group's fandom, VVS. The tour began earlier this month with two events in Seoul.

Vanner was formed as a five-member band – Taehwan, Gon, Hyeseong, Sunggook, and Yeonggwang – in 2019. The name "Vanner" is derived from a combination of "victory" and "banner."
Following its initial debut, Vanner participated in the "Peak Time" competition as Team 11:00 and secured the first-place position. The series, which aired from February to April, highlighted already-debuted but lesser-known boy bands.
The boy band released its first EP, "Veni, Vidi, Vici," on August 21, marking Vanner's first music release since "Peak Time." The album has attained substantial success, with sales reaching 110,000 copies since its launch, marking a new high for the band.
