The story revolves around eight financially struggling individuals participating in a reality competition for a substantial cash prize.

Set in a mysterious eight-story building, contestants engage in a perilous game that becomes increasingly lucrative over time.

Netflix described the series as featuring rollercoaster emotions as contestants navigate cooperation, conflicts, and betrayals within the enigmatic space divided into eight floors.

The cast includes Ryu Jun-yeol, Chun Woo-hee, Park Jeong-min, Lee Yul-eum, Park Hae-joon, Lee Joo-young, Moon Jeong-hee, and Bae Seong-woo.

Han Jae-rim, known for directing films like "The Face Reader" (2013) and "Emergency Declaration" (2021), makes his series directorial debut with "The 8 Show."
