Jeong Woo-yeong concluded the Bundesliga season on a strong note, scoring his second goal and providing an assist to help VfB Stuttgart secure a 4-0 victory over Monchengladbach on Saturday. The win moved Stuttgart above Bayern Munich to second place in the league standings.
Jeong, 24, entered the match in the 57th minute with Stuttgart leading 2-0. He scored in the 75th minute to make it 3-0 and assisted Silas for the fourth goal in the 83rd minute.

Bayern Munich's center-back Kim Min-jae did not play in Saturday's match. Kim, who joined Bayern with high expectations, struggled to adapt and fell out of the starting lineup after the Asian Cup earlier this year.
Elsewhere in the Bundesliga, Lee Jae-sung's Mainz defeated Wolfsburg 3-1, finishing the season in 13th place and avoiding relegation.
Jeong, Kim, and Lee are expected to reunite soon as they are regular members of the Korean national team. South Korea, currently without a manager, will face Singapore on June 6 and China on June 11 in World Cup qualifiers.
