BTS members Suga, V, and Jungkook have received acclaim for their solo albums, with multiple global media organizations recognizing them as 'Albums of the Year.'
Suga, under his alter-ego Agust D, earned the No. 27 spot on American music media Consequence of Sound's "The 50 Best Albums of 2023" for "D-Day," released in April. Described as some of Suga's finest solo work, the magazine highlighted the album's thematic exploration of inner peace and optimism for the future.

Jungkook's first solo album, "Golden," released in November, received recognition from American media UPROXX, being featured in its list of "The Best Albums Of 2023." Jungkook's versatility as a pop sensation, both within BTS and as a solo artist, was acknowledged. Highlighted tracks included the romantic "Standing Next To You," the rhythmic "3D," and the emotionally charged ballad "Hate You."
These accolades come as the remaining members of BTS prepare to commence their mandatory military service. RM and V are scheduled to begin basic training on Monday, while Jimin and Jungkook will start on Tuesday. Jin, J-Hope, and Suga have already commenced their mandatory service in previous months.
