Singer EVAN has entered the Billboard 200 with his debut EP “DEATH OF ME.”
The album debuted at No. 49 on the chart dated Oct. 3, according to Billboard’s latest rankings released Sept. 29. The Billboard 200 measures album performance in the United States using physical sales, digital downloads and streaming-equivalent units.
“DEATH OF ME” also ranked No. 2 on World Albums and No. 7 on Top Album Sales. EVAN reached No. 1 on Emerging Artists and entered the Artist 100 at No. 51.
The EP surpassed 500,000 copies in sales within three days of release, according to Hanteo Chart. Its title track, “Death of Me,” entered the UK Official Singles Sales and Singles Downloads charts as well as TikTok Korea’s Top 50 and Viral 50 rankings. EVAN received two music-show wins during the promotional period.
EVAN will continue activities with the follow-up track “Twilight.” He is scheduled to perform the song on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on Oct. 1.
Built around a UK garage rhythm, “Twilight” is a pop track that compares the moment of becoming absorbed in another person to the transition of twilight.
