American pop star Olivia Rodrigo is set to hold her inaugural concert in South Korea this September, marking her debut performance in the country. The concert, scheduled for September 20th at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul, is organized by concert planning agency Bonboo Entertainment.

Born in 2003, Rodrigo gained widespread recognition in 2021 with her debut single "Drivers License," which soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her debut studio album, "Sour," featuring the hit single, remained in the top 10 of the Billboard album chart for over a year.

Continuing her chart-topping success, Rodrigo released "Vampire," the lead single from her second studio album, which also secured the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100. This achievement made her the first artist in Billboard history to have both lead singles from her debut and second albums reach the top of the charts.

Rodrigo's musical prowess was further validated at the 64th Grammy Awards in 2022, where she clinched three awards, including "Best New Artist," "Best Pop Vocal Album," and "Best Pop Solo Performance." Additionally, she was recognized as one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 Musicians, solidifying her status as a significant figure in the music industry.

Having embarked on her "Guts" world tour in February, Rodrigo has been captivating audiences across the United States and Europe. Her forthcoming Asian tour, commencing in September, marks another milestone in her global tour itinerary, providing fans in South Korea with an eagerly anticipated opportunity to experience her electrifying performances firsthand.
