K-pop group SHINee concludes "SHINee World VI [Perfect Illumination]" Japanese tour with two sold-out concerts at Tokyo Dome

Over the weekend, K-pop sensation SHINee delivered electrifying performances at Tokyo Dome, marking their return to the iconic venue after a six-year hiatus. The two concerts, held on Feb. 24 and 25, served as the grand finale for the "SHINee World VI [Perfect Illumination]" Japanese tour, which spanned four cities over three months.

The Tokyo Dome performances, attracting over 100,000 fans, were the band's first at the venue since their "SHINee World the Best 2018" tour. Both concerts sold out, according to their agency, SM Entertainment.

The band opened the concert with the Japanese version of "Sherlock (Clue + Note)" (2012) and proceeded to captivate the audience with hit tracks like "Lucifer" (2010), "View" (2015), and Japanese versions of "Dream Girl" (2013), "Replay" (2008), and "Love Like Oxygen" (2008). In total, the concert featured 28 songs, including tracks from their latest full-length album "Hard" (2023), such as the title track, "Juice," and "Like It."

The grand finale concluded with the performance of the Japanese single "1000 Years, Always By Your Side" (2012).

Expressing gratitude, SHINee members conveyed their emotions during the closing remarks, stating, "It felt unreal coming back to the Tokyo Dome after six years, but I’m glad to stand here once again." They acknowledged the energy from the audience, urging fans to cherish the encounter between SHINee and their fan base, known as SHINee World or Shawol.

Looking ahead, SHINee is set to embark on the next leg of their "SHINee World VI [Perfect Illumination]" tour in other regions of Asia. The tour will kick off in Singapore on March 2, followed by a concert in Hong Kong on April 16. Notably, three members—Minho, Taemin, and Key—will participate, while Onew will be absent due to health issues.
