Abstract Taegeuk Pattern Meets Heart Motif in Monumental Sculptural Art Display

Seoul, June 3 (SayArt) - Renowned artist Huh Hwe-Tae is set to mesmerize art enthusiasts with his latest exhibition, "Flower Path I Have Found." Organized by Ray Village Co., Ltd., the highly anticipated event will be held at the prestigious Gallery Is in Seoul's Jongno-Gu district from June 14th to 19th, 2023.
 

Huh Hwe-Tae, celebrated for his unique artistic vision, presents an exquisite blend of the abstract Taegeuk pattern and a heart-shaped motif in his 27th solo exhibition. The monumental centerpiece of the exhibition, "Flower Path I Have Found I," measures an impressive 162x132cm. It combines the heart-shaped form, symbolizing new life and vitality, with the crescent-shaped elements inspired by the Taegeuk pattern. The result is a captivating artwork that invites viewers to contemplate their existence and embark on a journey of self-discovery.

The exhibition showcases Huh Hwe-Tae's groundbreaking sculptural art series, "Emosculpture" This new form of artistic expression transcends symbolism and captivates the senses through vibrant colors and simplified shapes. Over 30 meticulously crafted artworks from the past two years, including "Flower Path I Have Found II" and "Flower Path I Have Found IV," will also be on display. These masterpieces evoke visual pleasure with their fluid curves and interdependence of thousands of meticulously arranged pieces.

The artist's dedication to his craft is unparalleled. For this exhibition, Huh Hwe-Tae immersed himself in the creative process, devoting 20 hours each day to bring his vision to life. With only four hours of sleep, he aimed to convey a profound philosophical meaning of self-discovery and enlightenment within the vast universe.

Art critic Kim Jong-Geun lauds Huh Hwe-Tae's artistic prowess, noting that the artist had his first solo exhibition at an early age, surpassing even the renowned painter Picasso.
