Fans of SHINee's Taemin have been officially named "TAEMate," distinguishing themselves from the boy band's main fandom, SHINee World.
The inception of TAEMate coincides with Taemin's debut as a solo artist under his new label, Big Planet Made, following the end of his 16-year contract with SM Entertainment in March. Taemin will continue his activities with SHINee under SM Entertainment.
The fan club's name and logo were unveiled through Taemin's social media pages on Wednesday at noon.
