NewJeans' Hit Single "Super Shy" Surpasses 500 Million Streams on Spotify

NewJeans Continues Chart Success with Fourth Song to Reach Milestone

Agency Ador announced on Tuesday that NewJeans' track "Super Shy" has amassed over 500 million plays on Spotify, marking the group's fourth song to achieve this milestone on the platform. The track, featured on their second EP "Get Up," was released in July last year and has garnered widespread acclaim both domestically and internationally.

"Super Shy" maintained a strong presence on various music charts, including Billboard's Hot 100 and the UK's Official singles chart, where it remained for eight and nine weeks, respectively. It peaked at No. 48 on the Hot 100 and No. 52 on the UK chart. Additionally, the single reached No. 2 on Billboard's Global 200 and Global excl. the US charts, as well as No. 4 on Spotify's global daily top songs chart.

The upcoming release from the rookie sensation, titled "How Sweet," features a double A-side format, with the B-side track "Bubble Gum" set to be unveiled on April 27. "How Sweet" is scheduled for release on May 24, marking NewJeans' highly anticipated return to the music scene.
