Seventeen's "Seventeenth Heaven" Achieves Remarkable Success on Oricon's Weekly Album Chart

In a notable achievement, K-pop boy group Seventeen has secured the top spot on Oricon's weekly album chart dated March 18 with their 11th EP, "Seventeenth Heaven." This marks the third time the album has claimed the No. 1 position on the Japanese music industry's standard album popularity chart, making Seventeen only the second artist to achieve this feat, following in the footsteps of BTS.

"Seventeenth Heaven" was released on October 23, 2023, and quickly made history as Seventeen became the first foreign artist to dominate Oricon's weekly album chart with 11 different albums. The EP's initial release witnessed unprecedented success, with over 5 million copies sold in the first week, a groundbreaking accomplishment for a K-pop artist, as reported by Pledis Entertainment.

Anticipating continued success, Seventeen is gearing up for the "Seventeen Tour Follow Again," featuring encore performances in Korea and Japan. The tour is scheduled to commence at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on March 30-31, followed by shows at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on April 27-28. Japanese fans can catch the performances at the Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka on May 18-19 and the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama on May 25-26.
