Marking Kim Su-hyun's return to the screen after a three-year hiatus since his role in "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," the actor expressed his eagerness to tackle a role he has not previously explored. Kim Su-hyun, in a press conference in Seoul, highlighted that it is his first time depicting a married couple and portraying the character of an in-law, aiming to bring forth the various facets of Baek's personality, including intelligence and clumsiness.

"Queen of Tears" represents the second collaboration between Kim Su-hyun and screenwriter Park Ji-eun, following their work on the 12-part KBS drama "The Producer." The series is set to premiere on tvN with its first episode airing on Saturday.
