Brave Entertainment revealed on Friday that girl group Candy Shop is set to make its official debut on March 27, marking the agency's first new girl group in 13 years since the debut of Brave Girls (now known as BB Girls) in 2011. The announcement emphasizes the group's intention to represent Generation Z, offering not only great music but also showcasing each member's distinct charms and skills, according to a press release from the agency.

Directed by renowned music producer Brave Brothers, known for writing hit songs for girl groups such as After School, Sistar, and AOA, Candy Shop aims to cater to listeners' diverse preferences, likening their approach to the variety found in a candy shop with thousands of different candies.

Brave Entertainment, recognized for introducing the eight-member boy band DKB in February 2020, has established itself with notable EPs like "Youth" and "I Need Love" (2023) and "Hip" (2023).
