Im Soo-hyang and Ji Hyun-woo Ready for Premiere of New KBS Weekend Drama Series

"Beauty and Romantic" Set to Debut with Compelling Storyline and Veteran Director

Im Soo-hyang and Ji Hyun-woo, two acclaimed South Korean actors, are prepared to take on their roles in the upcoming KBS weekend drama series, "Beauty and Romantic," slated to premiere this Saturday.

Directed by veteran filmmaker Hong Seok-ku, known for his work on KBS weekend dramas such as "My Only One" and "Homemade Love Story," and scripted by Kim Sa-kyung, renowned for her contributions to KBS weekend dramas like "Young Lady and Gentleman" and "My Only One," the 50-part series promises an intriguing narrative.

"Beauty and Romantic" follows the story of a top celebrity, portrayed by Im Soo-hyang, who faces a decline in popularity, and a drama series producer, played by Ji Hyun-woo, who finds himself falling in love with her.

Im Soo-hyang expressed her comfort and excitement in portraying the character of Park Do-ra, citing her own experience as an actor as a valuable asset in understanding the role's complexities.

Ji Hyun-woo, who previously collaborated with screenwriter Kim Sa-kyung in "Young Lady and Gentleman," expressed his enthusiasm for reuniting with her and delivering a compelling performance on screen.

The first episode of "Beauty and Romantic" is scheduled to air on KBS 2TV at 7:55 p.m.
