J-Hope, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS, has secured a historic milestone on the Billboard chart with his latest special album, "Hope on the Street Vol.1," which was released last month.

According to data from Billboard, "Hope on the Street Vol.1" debuted at an impressive No. 5 position on Billboard's primary album chart, the Billboard 200, dated April 13.

This marks the second occasion that J-Hope has entered the top 10 albums on the Billboard 200. His previous solo LP, "Jack In The Box," attained the No. 6 spot on the same chart dated September 2, 2023.

With this accomplishment, J-Hope has become the first solo K-pop artist to achieve multiple top-10 rankings on the Billboard 200.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks albums based on their performance in the United States, measuring multi-metric consumption in equivalent album units, as compiled by Luminate. These units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

According to Luminate data, J-Hope's six-track album garnered 50,000 equivalent album units within its initial seven days of availability in the US. This total included 44,000 units from album sales, along with 4,000 SEA units and 2,000 TEA units.

Notably, J-Hope's solo discography has made significant marks on the Billboard 200. His first solo EP, "Hope World," released in March 2018, debuted at No. 38 on the chart.

Despite his ongoing mandatory military service, J-Hope is expected to be discharged in October, continuing his musical endeavors thereafter.
