NCT’s Yuta to Embark on First Solo Japan Tour in October

SEOUL — Yuta, a member of the K-pop boy band NCT, will kick off his first-ever solo concert tour across Japan this October, his agency SM Entertainment announced Tuesday.

Titled “Yuta Live Tour 2025,” the tour will span 13 performances across 10 cities, including Tokyo, Kyoto, Hokkaido, Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Miyagi, Ishikawa, Hiroshima, Hyogo, and Kanagawa.

The tour begins on October 2 in Tokyo, with additional dates including Kyoto (October 18–19), Fukuoka (October 31), Kumamoto (November 2), Miyagi (November 15), Ishikawa (November 22), Hiroshima (November 24), Hyogo (November 28), and Kanagawa (December 6).

Before the tour, Yuta is set to perform at major Japanese music festivals this summer, including The MusiQuest 2025 in Tokyo on July 5 and Rock in Japan Festival 2025 on September 20 — one of the country’s biggest music festivals, drawing over 200,000 attendees annually.

Yuta’s popularity in Japan has continued to grow, with his recent Japanese single “Twisted Paradise,” released on May 14, topping the Oricon Rock Singles Chart for three consecutive weeks and ranking No. 1 on Oricon’s monthly chart for May. The single also topped iTunes Top Albums charts in eight regions and reached the Top 5 in 13 countries and territories.

This upcoming solo tour follows the success of his 2023 showcase tour “Hope,” which sold out all nine shows in five Japanese cities.

Yuta debuted in July 2016 as a member of NCT 127, a subunit of the larger NCT project. He expanded into acting in 2022, appearing in the Japanese film High & Low: The Worst X.
