RM, leader of the K-pop group BTS, will release his second solo album, "Right Place, Wrong Person," on Friday, according to an announcement by BigHit Music. The album will be available on various music platforms at 1 p.m. (Korean time). This marks RM's first solo project since his album "Indigo" in December 2022.
The new album, which includes 11 tracks, reflects RM's feelings of being a "stranger who does not fit in certain places," as stated by the agency. The main track, "Lost!," and other songs such as "Right People, Wrong Place," "Nuts," "Out of Love," "Domodachi," "?" and "Come Back to Me" were all written by RM.

The album features contributions from Kim Han-joo of the band Silica Gel, American jazz duo Domi & JD Beck, Oh Hyuk of the band Hyukoh, and Kuo of the Taiwanese band Sunset Rollercoaster. British rapper Little Simz and American singer-songwriter Moses Sumney are featured artists.
BigHit emphasized that the album showcases RM's distinct artistic style, separate from BTS' group work, highlighting his individual identity as a solo artist. RM will release music videos and live performance videos for some of the tracks on Tuesday, Thursday-Friday, and June 10. Although RM is currently serving in the South Korean Army, he managed to film music videos for nearly half of the album's tracks before his enlistment in December. He is scheduled to be discharged in June 2025.
