Brooklyn-based Brent Buck Architects has released detailed renderings of 110 Boerum Place, marking the firm's debut in the condominium development sector. Located in the historic Cobble Hill neighborhood, this six-story residential building draws inspiration from the area's characteristic red brick architecture and traditional brownstone aesthetic that defines much of Brooklyn's housing landscape.

The 65,000-square-foot development spans an entire city block between Dean Street and Pacific Street, offering 21 residential units ranging from two to five bedrooms. Each apartment has been designed as an individual home, featuring private outdoor space and multiple exposures – amenities that are increasingly rare in Brooklyn's dense urban environment. The project is being developed by Avdoo, the same company behind Frida Escobedo's salmon-colored Bergen building, which is currently nearing completion in nearby Boerum Hill.

Architecturally, the building responds thoughtfully to its neighborhood context while incorporating modern design elements. The primary entrance features a monumental archway that serves as a focal point, while the rectilinear facade includes inset brick details designed to create dynamic shadow lines and visual depth. Brook Landscape is serving as the landscape architect for the project, ensuring that outdoor spaces complement the building's overall design philosophy.

Residents will have access to over 11,000 square feet of amenity space, anchored by a shared courtyard that serves as the building's central gathering place. The interior design emphasizes luxury finishes throughout, including custom white oak cabinetry, brass hardware, lime-washed walls, and honed Paonazzo Caldia marble countertops. Bathrooms feature Arabescato marble surfaces, radiant heated floors, soaking tubs, and walk-in showers, along with bespoke brass sconces and other high-end fixtures.

Architect Brent Buck expressed his personal connection to the neighborhood and design philosophy behind the project. "When I first moved to Brooklyn and Cobble Hill, I quickly fell in love with the scale of the neighborhood," Buck stated. "Together with Avdoo, we sought to translate this scale to 110 Boerum Place. We felt it was important to design something that felt natural to the neighborhood, something that belongs here."

What distinguishes this development from typical residential projects is its emphasis on individuality and variation. Buck noted that "what makes the building even more special is that there's very little repetition – each unit has its own identity." This approach reflects Brent Buck Architects' experience with traditional townhouse design, which Avdoo describes as being reimagined through a modern lens for contemporary urban living. The project represents a significant addition to Brooklyn's evolving residential landscape, combining respect for neighborhood character with contemporary luxury amenities.
