A new contemporary art gallery has officially opened its doors in Harrogate, bringing global artwork to the local community. Millesime Art, owned by Will Fosbrook, began operations on Royal Parade last week, marking a significant addition to the area's cultural landscape.
The gallery specializes in contemporary artwork sourced from artists around the world, offering pieces that can be shipped internationally to collectors and art enthusiasts. This global approach allows local residents and visitors to experience diverse artistic styles and perspectives from various cultures and artistic movements.
Millesime Art operates on a comprehensive schedule to accommodate different visitor preferences throughout the week. The gallery welcomes guests from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and maintains Sunday hours from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., ensuring accessibility for both weekday and weekend art lovers.
Owner Will Fosbrook expressed his gratitude to the community members who contributed to the gallery's successful launch. "Thank you to everyone who helped with arranging a van of artwork, installing lighting and offering advice," Fosbrook said. "I'm looking forward to welcoming visitors, showcasing artists' work and becoming part of Harrogate's community."
Fosbrook also extended a warm invitation to local residents and visitors to experience the new cultural venue firsthand. "If you're in the area, it would be great if you could stop by and say hello," he added, emphasizing the gallery's commitment to community engagement and accessibility.
