The agency added, “We ask for your support and interest as Jeong Dong Won returns with a more mature and evolved musical style.”
This upcoming release follows his 2021 debut studio album, Yearning, The Giving Tree, which showcased his emotional depth and vocal prowess. During the interim, Jeong Dong Won expanded his artistic range by adopting the persona of JD1, under which he explored diverse genres beyond trot, including K-pop, with standout tracks like ERROR 405 and Take Responsibility. Despite his experimental pursuits as JD1, Jeong Dong Won maintained a strong presence in his primary career. He took on prominent roles such as a judge on TV Chosun’s Mister Trot 3 and starred in the holiday film Jeong Dong Won: Christmas Total Mobilization, The Movie, further showcasing his talents in entertainment.
Showplay Entertainment emphasized the significance of this return, noting that it comes just four months after the release of his single Gori. The company stated, “This album will offer fans a deeper glimpse into Jeong Dong Won’s evolving musical world.”
