Baekhyun is set to make a highly anticipated return with a new collaboration track. On the 28th, INB100 released a mood poster on its official social media channels, teasing Baekhyun’s upcoming single "Do What You Do." The image, featuring a Polaroid-style aesthetic and sentimental text, hints at the song's emotional depth.
According to his agency, Baekhyun will release "Do What You Do" on March 3, a digital single featuring American singer UMI. This marks Baekhyun’s first collaborative project in four years, following his 2021 duet "Hurt" with Seo Moon Tak.
Baekhyun has a strong history of successful collaborations. His past duet with Suzy, "Dream," as well as hit songs such as Soyou’s "Rain" and Loco’s "YOUNG," have all received widespread acclaim. Given his track record, expectations are high for the synergy between Baekhyun and UMI in their upcoming release.
This collaboration also reinforces Baekhyun’s position as a global artist. Last year, he achieved his third consecutive million-seller with his fourth mini-album "Hello, World." His continued presence in both the domestic and international markets solidifies his influence in the global music scene.
The partnership between Baekhyun and UMI brings together two distinct musical styles. While Baekhyun is known for his smooth vocals and expressive delivery, UMI has built a reputation for her soulful R&B sound, making this collaboration a unique blend of their artistic strengths.
Fans have already expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming release, with the teaser poster sparking curiosity about the track’s concept and sound. The project reflects Baekhyun’s ability to experiment with different musical styles while maintaining his signature artistry.
Baekhyun’s agency INB100 commented, "We hope fans look forward to the musical synergy between Baekhyun and UMI, as this collaboration is expected to bring out the best of both artists."
"Do What You Do" will be released on March 3 at 2 PM KST across domestic and international streaming platforms, marking another milestone in Baekhyun’s ever-expanding career.
