Kim Jae Joong is set to make a highly anticipated comeback after six months. His agency, iNKODE, announced on December 12 that the singer will release his new single, Sequence #4, on December 26. This news follows the teaser image released on December 11, which showed Kim embarking on a journey, hinting at his upcoming album.
Sequence #4 marks Kim Jae Joong’s first release since his 20th debut anniversary album, Flower Garden, and his second album this year. Designed as a year-end offering, the project symbolizes Kim’s commitment to staying connected with his fans.
According to a representative, Kim Jae Joong played an active role in the entire production process. “The theme of the album is ‘continuation of beginnings,’ reflecting his journey as an artist in his 22nd year, encompassing his career as a group member, a solo artist, and his aspirations for 2025. It signifies a new chapter—his fourth beginning.”
Earlier this year, Kim Jae Joong kicked off 2024 with his fan concert, J-Party, followed by the release of his full-length album and a series of successful events, including an Asia tour and the JX concert series. His upcoming single adds another milestone to his productive year, showcasing his dedication to his craft and his fans.
The single will be released as a platform album, with pre-orders starting at 3 PM on December 12 through various music retail platforms. Fans can look forward to the full release of all tracks on December 26 at 6 PM.
