Tomorrow X Together Prove Their Album Power with Record-Breaking Sales

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has once again demonstrated their powerful presence in the music industry with impressive album sales. According to Hunter Chart, the group’s seventh mini-album, The Name Chapter: Sanctuary, has sold a remarkable 1,579,339 copies as of November 11. This figure surpasses the initial first-week sales of their previous mini-album, which sold 1,546,433 copies. Notably, on its release day alone (November 4), the album crossed the 1.21 million mark, marking TXT’s entry into the “million-seller” club within a single day.

The new album is now one of five TXT records that have achieved first-week sales exceeding one million copies, including minisode 2: Thursday’s Child (2022), The Name Chapter: Temptation, and The Name Chapter: Freefall (2023). These impressive milestones highlight TXT’s sustained popularity and growing fanbase with each new release.

On domestic music charts, the title track Over The Moon has steadily climbed, reaching No. 3 on Genie’s real-time chart after entering at No. 82. This achievement signifies the growing enthusiasm for the group’s latest music, as fans eagerly stream and support their new release.

In Japan, TXT’s influence remains strong. Within just two days of release, The Name Chapter: Sanctuary sold over 277,000 copies in Japan, far surpassing the weekly sales of their previous album, which reached 174,000. The album also secured the No. 1 spot on both Apple Music Japan’s “Top Album” chart and iTunes Japan’s “Top Album” chart. Meanwhile, Over The Moon dominated the Line Music daily song chart from November 7 to 9, holding the No. 1 position for three consecutive days.

The concept of The Name Chapter: Sanctuary revolves around the theme of rediscovery, portraying the magic and wonder found in reuniting with someone special. The album explores various emotions of love through moments that change one’s perception of the world, as inspired by a rekindled connection. Over The Moon, a unique blend of vintage sound and R&B groove, expresses excitement for a future spent together, infusing the song with an infectious joy.

To celebrate the album release, TXT has set up a special pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul, B2 Iconic Square, open until November 13. The store invites fans to immerse themselves in the album’s theme and enjoy exclusive merchandise, further amplifying the excitement around The Name Chapter: Sanctuary.

With The Name Chapter: Sanctuary breaking records and maintaining momentum both domestically and internationally, TXT continues to solidify their standing as one of the leading forces in K-pop, captivating listeners worldwide with their innovative music and storytelling.
