On December 4, JYP Entertainment confirmed that the group’s July release had surpassed 50,000 unit sales, securing this prestigious recognition on November 28, 2024.
This milestone adds to their remarkable track record in France, following previous Gold certifications for their full-length album ★★★★★ (Five Star) and mini album 樂-STAR (Rockstar). The achievement highlights Stray Kids’ growing resonance in the European music market, a significant feat for a K-pop group in a region traditionally dominated by Western artists.
The recognition comes amid preparations for their world tour, dominATE, which has already achieved unprecedented success. The tour spans 25 stadiums across Latin America, North America, and Europe, with all shows completely sold out. The overwhelming demand has led to the addition of performances in Santiago, São Paulo, London, and Paris. Altogether, Stray Kids will perform 48 concerts in 32 cities worldwide, demonstrating their ability to command a global fanbase.
The group’s success extends beyond live performances, as they continue to innovate musically. On December 13 at 2 PM KST (midnight EST), Stray Kids will release their new album, SKZHOP HOP: 合 (HOP). This project introduces a fresh format and features the title track "Walkin On Water," showcasing the group's commitment to pushing creative boundaries.
