Stray Kids’ Han and Felix have once again demonstrated their formidable presence as a rap duo, building anticipation for their upcoming digital single.
On March 16, JYP Entertainment released a teaser video for "Truman," a track from Stray Kids’ new digital single album "Mixtape: dominATE," through the group’s official social media channels.
The 49-second teaser opens with a striking image of a burning hand in a dark setting, creating an intense atmosphere. Felix soon appears, delivering his signature deep, resonant voice in a hauntingly measured tone.
Han follows next, lying across a tilted chair as if defying gravity. His distinct rap flow contrasts sharply with Felix’s, adding another layer of intrigue to the song. Together, the duo creates a captivating contrast of styles, heightening expectations for the full release.
"Truman" was written and composed by Han and Felix, showcasing their artistic input. The track features an edgy, fashion-forward sound, blending contrasting vocal textures over a sophisticated beat. The teaser hints at a stylish and immersive musical experience.
The "Mixtape: dominATE" album contains five tracks, including the title track "GIANT," along with "Burnin' Tires," "ESCAPE," "CINEMA," and "Truman." All members contributed to the production, reaffirming Stray Kids' "self-producing group" reputation. Through this album, they explore new unit combinations and experimental genres, further expanding their musical versatility.
Stray Kids will release "Mixtape: dominATE" on March 21 at 1 PM KST (midnight EST). Additionally, the group is set to premiere their unit performances on their ongoing world tour later this month, bringing these songs to life on stage.
