G-Dragon is making his long-awaited comeback with his third full-length album, marking his first studio release in 11 years and five months since "COUP D'ETAT" in 2013. The album, titled "Übermensch," will be released on February 25, 2025, across major music streaming platforms.

The album’s title, derived from German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche's concept of the "Übermensch", signifies an individual who transcends their limitations to achieve greatness. G-Dragon’s team explained, "The album embodies his journey of surpassing himself—not as someone else, but as a stronger, more resolute version of who he is." The English interpretation of the term, "Beyond-Man," reinforces this theme of self-evolution.

Ahead of the release, a teaser video has captivated fans worldwide. The clip features G-Dragon’s silhouette, illuminated by ethereal lighting, as he walks toward his mirrored reflection. As the two silhouettes merge, the "Ü" logo of Übermensch transforms in a dynamic, visually striking sequence. The video’s atmospheric soundtrack, featuring a heartbeat sound and an echo of fan cheers, heightens anticipation. The teaser concludes with the date "2025.02.25," amplifying excitement for the upcoming release.

Industry insiders speculate that "Übermensch" will showcase a bolder, more intense musical direction, with G-Dragon pushing artistic boundaries both lyrically and sonically. Given his reputation for shaping trends rather than following them, expectations are high for his reinvention as an artist.

G-Dragon’s return to the stage will come just days before the album’s release. On February 22 (local time), he will perform at the "K-Star Spark" event held at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He is set to appear alongside fellow BIGBANG member Daesung, marking a rare on-stage reunion.

As a pioneering figure in K-pop, G-Dragon has influenced an entire generation of artists with his genre-defying music, fashion, and artistry. With "Übermensch," he is expected to once again redefine the landscape of contemporary music, reinforcing his status as a global icon.
