In a competitive match at Ceres Park Arena, Cho Gue-sung and Lee Han-beom showcased their skills, leading FC Midtjylland to a 3-2 victory over AGF. The game saw an early setback for the visitors as they conceded a penalty in the ninth minute, expertly converted by Partick Mortensen. AGF's attempt to secure a second goal in the 16th minute was denied after a VAR review.
However, FC Midtjylland rebounded in the dying minutes of the first half when Cho converted a penalty in stoppage time, leveling the score. Lee Han-beom, making his first start since joining the club last summer, contributed a goal just minutes into the second half, marking his first goal for Midtjylland.

AGF managed to equalize with another penalty in the 76th minute. Despite being reduced to nine men after Paulinho's 49th-minute dismissal and Sverrir Ingi Ingason's 75th-minute red card, Midtjylland secured the win with a late stoppage-time goal from substitute Charles.
The victory places Midtjylland one point behind league leaders Brondby, with three games remaining before the league splits into championship and qualifying playoffs.
The match proved significant for Cho Gue-sung, who recently returned to Superliga after a challenging stint at the AFC Asian Cup. Despite prior criticism for his performance during the continental tournament, Cho demonstrated resilience with 10 goals across all competitions this season for Midtjylland.
