Discoveries
New artists get their opportunity to premiere contemporary art created especially for Art Basel. It is the sector for solo presentations by emerging artists, Discoveries will bring together 24 galleries. Highlights include an entirely new body of works by Victor Ehikhamenor at newcomer Retro Africa, including the artist’s rosary bead works, ‘perforation’ works on paper, and paintings taking inspiration from motifs in Benin culture.
디스커버리 섹션에서는 신진작가들이 아트 바젤을 위해 특별히 제작한 현대 미술을 선보입니다. 총 24개의 갤러리가 참여하며 하이라이트에는 예술가의 묵주 구슬 작업, 종이에 '천공' 작업, 베냉 문화의 모티프에서 영감을 얻은 그림을 포함해 빅터 에히카메노르의 새로운 작품이 포함된 작품들을 레트로 아프리카 에서 선보입니다.
