Global Pop Star Performs Tracks from Solo Album "Golden" in Front of 2,800 Fans

Jungkook, a member of the globally renowned group BTS, hosted his inaugural fan-exclusive live stage event in Seoul on Monday. The event, titled "Jungkook ‘Golden’ Live On Stage," featured performances of all the tracks from his recently released solo album, "Golden."

The singer opened the show with "Standing Next to You," the lead track from his album, followed by the sidetrack "Yes or No." Addressing the audience, known as Army, Jungkook expressed his excitement and nerves about performing alone on stage for an extended duration. Throughout the event, fans chanted his name and illuminated the venue with fan lights.

Jungkook presented live renditions of previously unreleased tracks from "Golden," including "Somebody," "Hate You," "Shot Glass of Tears," and "Too Sad To Dance." As an encore, he performed the group's song "Magic Shop."

Expressing gratitude to his fans, Jungkook stated, "Armys are my life. I hope you don’t forget that I am always with you wherever you are." BTS member RM attended the event to support Jungkook and commended the youngest member for his achievements.

The two-hour-long event concluded with Jungkook performing "Still With You," a song he composed and released in 2020. The pop star also live-streamed the event on Weverse for international fans, with over 1.15 million viewers from 224 countries tuning in online, according to Big Hit Music.
