Italian couple Caterina and Sergio Corona have opened a specialized photography bookstore on Rue du Professeur-Demons in Bordeaux, creating the city's first dedicated space for photography literature. The unique establishment, called "Librairie photographique" (Photography Bookstore), targets photography enthusiasts, students, and collectors of fine art books.

The bookstore is discretely located on the first floor of an old building on Rue du Professeur-Demons, where the Italian managers previously operated an exhibition gallery. The Coronas have now expanded their space to include a retail area specifically devoted to photographic publications, transforming their gallery into a comprehensive destination for photography lovers.

The specialized bookstore serves a diverse clientele, appealing to artistic photography enthusiasts, students studying photography, and collectors who appreciate beautiful photographic works. By creating this niche business, the Coronas have filled a gap in Bordeaux's cultural retail landscape, offering a dedicated space for those passionate about the art of photography.

"Only new books, that's a commercial choice," Sergio Corona explained, highlighting their business strategy of focusing exclusively on new publications rather than used or vintage photography books. This approach allows them to offer customers the latest releases and highest quality editions in the photography field.
