Professional photographer Aurore Caillaud has achieved a significant milestone in her career by earning the prestigious "European Photographer" title from the European Federation of Photographers (FEP). The Montmorillon-based artist is now the only photographer in the Vienne department to hold this distinguished European certification, which serves as a guarantee of quality for her clients.

Caillaud, who specializes in individual portraits and family photography, submitted a portfolio of twelve photographs to the FEP for evaluation. The European jury validated her work, granting her the coveted title that recognizes her professional excellence. "I have been a professional photographer for twelve years," she explained. "I trained with some of France's finest craftsmen, including Claude Fougeirol. Being recognized as a European photographer means it's a mark of quality for my clients."

The photographer has ambitious plans to continue advancing her skills and potentially pursue higher certifications within the European photography federation. "I continue to train in my profession once or twice a year. I want to improve my quality," she stated. The European Federation of Photographers awards two additional, more demanding titles: the QUEP (Qualified European Photographer) and the highest level, Master QUEP.

Eighteen months ago, Caillaud opened her photography studio on Boulevard de Strasbourg in Montmorillon, after spending eight years established in Lussac-les-Châteaux. Her spacious facility features a professional studio for photo shoots and a cinema room where families can view their images together. "It's an experience to be lived as a family," she emphasized. "In the studio, I personalize each photo session and try to capture each person's individual personality."

Caillaud works primarily in her studio, where she welcomes babies, pregnant women, and families, while also providing services for businesses and creating identification photos. She has equipped herself with a selfie machine that she rents out for various events. Her clientele extends beyond Vienne to include customers from Limousin and Indre regions.

The photographer has observed a renewed interest in printed family photographs after a period when digital photography dominated and many people believed they could take quality photos with their smartphones. "People should be proud to have their family photo on the wall," she said with a smile. "And besides, will we be able to read digital files over time? I'm from the old paper school," declared the thirty-something photographer.

Adding to her recent achievements, Caillaud has also been recognized as an "Artisan d'Art" (Craft Artisan), a title awarded by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts. This additional certification further validates her artistic expertise and professional standing in the photography industry. Her Studio Aurore Caillaud Photography is located at 68 Boulevard de Strasbourg in Montmorillon and can be reached at 05.49.48.62.70.
