The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong has announced the opening of applications for its K-Pop Zone exhibition space rental program, covering the period from January to June 2026. Since 2021, the center has been providing K-pop enthusiasts with free access to dedicated exhibition space, allowing fans to organize and showcase their own K-pop related events and displays.

Selected applicants will have the opportunity to receive financial support of up to $5,000 to help organize their exhibitions. The venue application process for the first half of 2026 is now officially open, with interested parties required to complete an online application form available through Google Forms at https://forms.gle/5LMjdJTFW6Qygi6p7.

Applicants must submit a detailed proposal no later than one month before their proposed exhibition start date if their application is successfully approved. However, those who submit their proposal along with their initial application form will receive high priority consideration during the selection process. The deadline for the first round of applications is set for November 12, and organizers emphasize that applications will not be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

If exhibition slots remain available after the initial review period, the application process will continue until all available time slots are filled. The K-Pop Zone is located on the 6th floor of the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong and operates Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, remaining closed on public holidays.

The center has successfully hosted numerous K-pop exhibitions in recent years, showcasing the program's popularity and success. Past exhibitions have included a PLAVE special exhibition, a Red Velvet 9th anniversary celebration, a BTS fan art showcase, an EXO special exhibition titled 'EXO'CLOCK,' and an ASTRO 6th Anniversary Exhibition called 'Dear My Universe.' These events demonstrate the diverse range of K-pop artists and themes that have been featured through the program.

For inquiries regarding the application process or exhibition requirements, interested parties can contact the Korean Cultural Center via email at k-pop@kcc-hk.kr with the subject line '[K-pop Zone Rental] Your Enquiry.' The center encourages K-pop fans and community organizations to take advantage of this unique opportunity to share their passion for Korean popular culture with the broader Hong Kong community through professionally organized exhibitions in a dedicated cultural space.
