“Dynamite,” characterized by its disco-pop sound, conveyed messages of joy and positivity during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The track propelled BTS to the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, making them the first K-pop artist to achieve this feat.

In 2021, BTS made history as the first Korean act nominated for a Grammy, receiving a nomination in the best pop group performance category for "Dynamite."

The song also received a diamond certification in the streaming category from the Recording Industry Association of Japan, surpassing 500 million streams in under two years.

While BTS members are currently fulfilling mandatory military duty, they are anticipated to resume group activities in 2025 following the discharge of all seven members.
