Twenty-four-year-old Théo Galilé has begun an eight-month mission in communication and graphic design at the CPIE (Center for Permanent Environmental Education Initiatives) at the Maison de l'eau et de la rivière (House of Water and River) in Ségrie-Fontaine, Orne. The young photographer, originally from Lorraine and now living in Rabodanges for the past two and a half years, started his environmental advocacy work in September 2025.

Passionate about both nature and photography, Théo brings his expertise in communication and graphic design to promote the association's activities and educational programs. As the newest recruit at CPIE des Collines normandes in Athis-Val-de-Rouvre, he is responsible for graphic design and communication efforts to support the organization's environmental mission.

Théo approaches this first experience working with a CPIE with great enthusiasm. "I assist Manon Jean, who is in charge of communication and graphic design and is currently studying marketing and sustainable development," Galilé explained. His diverse responsibilities include creating flyers to promote nature activities and outdoor excursions organized throughout the year, managing and maintaining social media platforms, and coordinating updates to the organization's website.

As an artistic photographer, Théo utilizes his trained eye to conduct photo reports during events and demonstrations, enriching the visual materials used by CPIE. He also maintains relationships with the press and designs the monthly newsletter. His background in landscape graphic design, where he primarily developed road development plans, has prepared him well for his current role.

Working from the exceptional setting of the Maison de l'eau et de la rivière, Théo particularly appreciates the quality of his new workplace. "At CPIE, I handle the communication plan, work that requires planning skills, analysis, and defining objectives," Théo stated. Now established in the study office of the House of Water and River, he finds the work environment highly conducive to his mission, describing the workplace setting as "very pleasant."

This position allows Théo to combine his lifelong passion for nature with his professional skills in visual communication and environmental advocacy. His eight-month commitment represents a significant step in using photography and design as tools for environmental education and awareness in the Norman Swiss region.
