Sayart / Oct 15, 2025

Objectif FEMMES, Paris's only festival exclusively dedicated to women photographers, is celebrating its milestone 10th anniversary with a special exhibition featuring five talented female artists. The anniversary exhibition will take place from November 12 to 23, 2025, at the Paris 9th Arrondissement City Hall, continuing the festival's decade-long mission to promote female perspectives in contemporary photography.

For this landmark 10th edition, the festival team has selected five photographers who represent the diversity and richness of women's artistic voices: Coco Amardeil, Laura Bonnefous, Camille Gourdan, Claire Luxton, and LiliRoze. These artists, coming from diverse backgrounds, are united by their shared aesthetic commitment and unique creative perspectives. The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will showcase five distinct worlds, personalities, and atmospheres under the high patronage of the Ministry of Culture.

Over its ten-year history, Objectif FEMMES has played a crucial role in advancing the careers of numerous female artists and building a more equal photography scene. Several photographers discovered through the festival have experienced significant career acceleration, with notable success stories including Cécile Henryon and Lou Sarda, who now benefit from solo exhibitions and increased institutional recognition. This track record demonstrates the festival's important impact in highlighting female talent in the visual arts.

The 2025 edition is honored to welcome renowned photographer Letizia Le Fur as its patron. Le Fur, who won the prestigious HSBC Photography Prize in 2019, is celebrated for her unique and poetic vision that explores the relationship between humanity and nature through a blend of reality and imagination. Her involvement embodies the excellence and inspiration that the festival aims to convey to new generations of artists. In addition to writing the editorial for the anniversary catalog, Le Fur will contribute her expertise and insightful perspective as a member of the 2025 jury.

Objectif FEMMES was created in 2015 by Karine Paoli, a visual artist and founder of the PARISARTISTES Biennale, in response to the persistent underrepresentation of women in the visual arts. The annual festival provides valuable exposure opportunities for talented artists, allowing them to connect with the public, collectors, and industry professionals. Over nearly ten years, more than 50 women photographers have been showcased through the festival's platform.

Supported by the Paris 9th Arrondissement City Hall, Objectif FEMMES has established itself as an essential event on the photography calendar. Through challenging and sensitive exhibitions, the festival continues to celebrate the richness, diversity, and power of the female perspective in contemporary art. The 10th anniversary exhibition will be held at the Paris 9th Arrondissement City Hall, located at 6 Rue Drouot, 75009 Paris, with free admission available every day during city hall opening hours.
