A colorful wall mural project is currently taking shape in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, near the border bridge connecting to Poland. The ongoing graffiti artwork, part of the "Visible Voices" project, is attracting significant attention from locals and visitors as it aims to create a welcoming symbol at this important international crossing point.

The large-scale mural is being painted on a building wall located on Große Oderstraße in Frankfurt (Oder), strategically positioned where travelers crossing the border bridge to Poland can easily see it. While the artwork remains unfinished, the project has already generated considerable interest due to its prominent location and the anticipation surrounding what animal motif will eventually greet border crossers.

According to Thomas Gutke, who is involved with the project, the completion timeline and final design details are still being determined. The Visible Voices graffiti initiative represents more than just decorative art – it aims to send a clear message about cross-border friendship and cultural exchange between Germany and Poland.

The positioning of this artwork is particularly significant, as Frankfurt (Oder) serves as an important gateway between the two countries. The city, located directly on the German-Polish border along the Oder River, has long been a symbol of European unity and cooperation. This new mural project continues that tradition by using street art as a medium to express international solidarity and welcome.

Once completed, the animal-themed graffiti will serve as a distinctive landmark for the thousands of people who cross the border bridge regularly, whether for business, tourism, or personal reasons. The project reflects the growing recognition of street art as a legitimate form of public expression and community engagement in European cities.
