Final Weekend to See Gromit Unleashed 3 Sculptures Throughout Bristol Before Relocation

Sayart / Aug 30, 2025

Bristol residents and visitors have just two days left to explore the beloved Gromit Unleashed 3 sculpture trail that has captivated the city for the past eight weeks. The popular public art installation, featuring 53 uniquely designed sculptures of the famous clay dog character, will conclude its city-wide display on Sunday, August 31.

The sculptures, created by Bristol-based Aardman Animations as part of their Wallace and Gromit franchise, have been strategically placed throughout Bristol and surrounding areas. This year's collection follows a distinctive film and cinema theme, drawing families and fans to hunt down each artistic creation. One notable sculpture, titled 'Robin Hood - Prince of Cheese,' has been attracting visitors to College Green, where people can be seen relaxing and reading alongside the charming display.

For those who haven't completed the sculpture trail yet, this weekend represents the final opportunity to see the artworks in their original locations across the city. A complete list of sculpture locations remains available for visitors planning their last-minute adventures to track down any remaining pieces they may have missed.

However, art enthusiasts who cannot finish the trail by Sunday's deadline will have another chance to see the complete collection. All 53 sculptures will be relocated to The Mall Cribbs Causeway for a special exhibition called 'The Greatest Dog Show on Earth,' running from Saturday, September 13, through Sunday, September 28.

This consolidated exhibition will mark the final opportunity for the public to view the entire Gromit Unleashed 2025 collection together in one location. Whether visitors have already spotted sculptures throughout the trail or are experiencing them for the first time, the indoor venue will allow people to see the full collection up close under one roof.

Tickets for 'The Greatest Dog Show on Earth' are available through The Grand Appeal website, priced at $6 for adults and $4 for children, plus applicable booking fees. The event promises to showcase the complete cast of sculptures in a comprehensive display format.

The sculpture exhibition serves a charitable purpose beyond public entertainment. Following the September display at Cribbs Causeway, all sculptures will be auctioned off on Thursday, October 2, with proceeds dedicated to raising vital funds for Bristol Children's Hospital through The Grand Appeal charity organization.
