Fujifilm has announced that its third annual Create With Us education event will take place at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis on September 27 and 28, 2025. The event is built around three core principles: create, learn, and network, bringing together photographers and filmmakers from across the country for collaborative learning experiences.

The main event is scheduled for September 28, running from 11 AM to 7:30 PM Central Time, with pre-event workshops taking place on September 27. Attendees can participate in six professionally-guided photo walks, five presentations covering various photography genres, and demonstrations of Fujifilm's GFX photo and video systems. The event also offers hands-on experiences with the latest Fujifilm equipment and provides two free gear cleaning services for attendees.

Pre-event workshops on September 27 will be led by distinguished photographers including Magnum Photographers Zied Ben Romdhane and Yael Martinez, along with Fujifilm Creatives Jasmine Quinoñes and Bethany Mollenkof. These intensive workshops cover specialized topics ranging from panoramic photography to portrait lighting techniques and video production skills.

"What started as a small, interactive experiment in 2022 has grown into an annual event that brings together a large community of storytellers and creatives from around the country that love making images," said Victor Ha, vice president of Electronic Imaging and Optical Devices Divisions at Fujifilm North America Corporation. "That common thread among every attendee brings a wonderful sense of authenticity to this event."

The event welcomes photographers and filmmakers regardless of their camera brand preference. Professional portfolio reviews will be available with renowned photographers Bethany Mollenkof, Reuben Wu, Zied Ben Romdhane, and Yael Martinez. Photo walks around downtown Minneapolis will be guided by Fujifilm creators including Jasmine Quinoñes, Tom Baumgaertel of Bewaremyfuji, and Ritchie Roesch of FujiXWeekly.

General admission to the main event on September 28 costs $75, though attendees can use the promotional code FCWU2025 for free general admission access. The optional pre-workshop sessions require separate registration and fees. Zied Ben Romdhane's panoramic photography workshop runs from 9 AM to 5 PM and costs $250, focusing on how panoramic photography can serve as a powerful storytelling tool.

Yael Martinez's lighting workshop, also priced at $250 and running from 9 AM to 5 PM, explores innovative techniques for using artificial and natural light to create striking and expressive portraits. Bethany Mollenkof offers a shorter session from 9 AM to noon for $150, covering how to develop a distinctive creative style and effectively pitch work to brands.

Jasmine Quinoñes conducts an afternoon workshop from 1 PM to 4 PM, priced at $150, which teaches participants how to film sequences and edit videos, specifically helping those who struggle with translating creative ideas into finished video projects. This workshop addresses the technical and creative challenges of video production from concept to completion.

"Create With Us is an event for passionate image makers to connect, learn, and grow alongside industry professionals," Ha explained. "Whether you're a stills photographer or filmmaker, and no matter what your camera brand of choice is, there's an opportunity for you at Create With Us to collaborate, share ideas, and expand your craft. Our goal for the event is that attendees connect with like-minded creators, gain invaluable insights, and leave inspired by the collective talent around them."

Complete scheduling information and registration links for both the main event and pre-workshops are available on Fujifilm's official website. The company expects this year's event to continue the growth trajectory that has transformed Create With Us from a small experimental gathering into a significant annual destination for photography and filmmaking education.
