Summer Photography and Arts Events Showcase International Talent Across Europe and Japan

Summer brings an exciting lineup of photography exhibitions and arts festivals spanning from Japan to Europe, featuring renowned photographers and emerging artists. One of the standout events is "The Art of Storytelling: Reportage, Series, Essay" workshop with acclaimed photographer Gerd Ludwig, taking place in Nagasaki, Japan. In the heart of Provence, the inaugural Dora Maar Film Festival celebrates documentary films focused on the arts. This new festival, held at the prestigious Hôtel du Tingry and Le Domaine du Fortin in Ménerbes, runs for three days from August 29th to August 31st, 2025. The festival honors the legacy of Dora Maar, the influential photographer and artist, by showcasing contemporary documentaries that explore various art forms and artistic processes.
