The Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles successfully concluded its 2025 K-POP Academy program, bringing together approximately 70 participants for an intensive five-day training experience. The program, held from July 28 to August 1 at the center's LA headquarters under the direction of Haedon Lee, provided comprehensive instruction in K-pop vocals and dance techniques.
Participants, including college students and teenagers, received structured training from seasoned professional instructors who bring extensive experience from major K-pop broadcast productions and concert stages in Korea. The academy offered hands-on learning opportunities in both vocal performance and choreography, allowing attendees to develop their skills under expert guidance throughout the week-long intensive program.
The culmination of the training program featured a special showcase event on the final day, where participants demonstrated the skills and techniques they had developed during their time at the academy. Family members and friends were invited to attend the performances, which were met with enthusiastic applause and appreciation from the audience, highlighting the progress made by the aspiring K-pop performers.
The 2025 K-POP Dance & Vocal Academy will continue its tour with additional sessions planned across the West Coast. A five-day program is scheduled to begin August 4 in Irvine, California, followed by another session starting August 11 in Portland, Oregon, extending the opportunity for K-pop training to participants in multiple cities throughout the region.
