Sayart / Oct 22, 2025

Atelier Carle has completed the OAKV Healthcare Space, a contemporary medical facility located in Oakville, Canada, showcasing innovative design approaches to healthcare architecture. The 2,286 square meter project, completed in 2025, represents a modern take on wellness-focused interior design for medical facilities.

The project was led by founding architect Alain Carle, with Alexandre Lemoyne serving as project architect and Laurie Elfassy contributing as architect. Thomas Guilhen provided M Arch services, while the construction was handled by Boszko & Verity as the general contractor. Mechanical engineering services were provided by Tristar Engineering Ltd.

The healthcare facility incorporates natural materials including wood, steel, and stone to create a warm and welcoming environment for patients and medical staff. The design philosophy emphasizes creating spaces that promote healing and wellness while maintaining the functional requirements of a modern medical facility.

Photographer Alex Lesage documented the completed project, capturing the integration of natural light and materials throughout the interior spaces. The facility demonstrates how contemporary healthcare design can balance aesthetic appeal with practical medical requirements.

The OAKV Healthcare Space represents Atelier Carle's continued commitment to innovative healthcare architecture, building on their portfolio of projects that prioritize both functionality and human-centered design principles in medical environments.
