Celebrating their 10th anniversary, GFriend has unveiled their new track 우리의 다정한 계절 속에 ("In Our Gentle Season") ahead of the release of their special album Season of Memories. The pre-released title track, which dropped at noon on January 6, sets the tone for the album, slated for full release on January 13 at 6 PM KST.
On January 5, GFriend premiered the song’s first live performance at the 39th Golden Disc Awards held at the Fukuoka PayPay Dome in Japan. The track, created as a tribute to the group’s journey, encapsulates the members’ shared experiences and celebrates their bond with fans. Lyrics such as "Through the revolving times, we’ve met again" and "Etched as one, forever in our gentle season" evoke a sense of nostalgia and connection.
Musically, 우리의 다정한 계절 속에 showcases GFriend's signature emotional depth. The song blends soaring melodies, dynamic progression, and poetic Korean lyrics, creating a piece that resonates with listeners. The album was produced by Source Music, the group’s longtime collaborator since their debut, and reunites GFriend with producers No Joo Hwan and Lee Won Jong, who previously worked on their hits 밤 (Time for the Moon Night) and 해야 (Sunrise). Shintaro Yasuda, known for his work on Ariana Grande's albums, also contributed, adding a fresh dimension to the production.
On January 6, the group released a mood film via HYBE Labels' YouTube channel, which included a highlight of the new track and behind-the-scenes footage from their first concert photo shoot. The video captured the members’ playful and nostalgic sides, rekindling memories of their earlier days and touching fans’ hearts.
GFriend also revealed the second set of concept photos, depicting a journey of connection. The imagery featured the members traversing through train cars, symbolizing individual paths that ultimately lead to a shared destination. The visual culminated in a poignant moment as all six members reunited, conveying a sense of unity and fulfillment.

Fans can look forward to the music video teaser for 우리의 다정한 계절 속에, set to be released on January 13. Following this, GFriend will hold their solo concert at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park from January 17 to 19, offering fans a chance to celebrate this milestone together.
